WHAT YOU’LL DO
Deliver excellent service to internal customers while utilizing strategic sourcing methods and tailored recruiting plans that will generate the talent and experience needed to strengthen and grow the organization.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Address job posting requests, seek to understand position requirements and determine the best strategies to fill positions
Confirm the level of support hiring managers would like with each of their open positions and provide excellent service throughout the recruiting process.
Perform the following recruiting functions as requested and appropriate; screen resumes/candidates to determine preliminary matches, schedule interviews, conduct and/or assist with telephone and in-person interviews, make recommendations to hiring managers.
Assist with the post-selection process, which may include writing and presenting offer letters, coordinating pre-employment screenings, and communicating with team members, selected applicants, and hiring managers.
Use company applicant tracking system to document recruiting activity for each position posted.
Adhere to company policy, state and federal employment law throughout the recruiting process.
Utilize job boards, social media, and professional networking sites/events to identify potential candidates.
Attend and visit internal and external career events.
Obtain knowledge of upcoming short and long-term recruiting needs through consistent communication with hiring managers.
Maintain awareness of seasonal recruiting needs/patterns in order to put proactive measures into place that will ensure adequate lead time.
Participate fully in recruiting meetings, brainstorming sessions, and recruiting retreats with team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of related experience OR 3+ years of related experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
Proficient within Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
1+ years of recruiting related experience using an electronic applicant tracking system.
PREFERABLY YOU’LL BRING
Prefer one or more years of recruiting related experience using Jobvite
Prefer experience with ADP HCM
Basic state and federal human resources knowledge, particularly as it affects the recruiting and hiring process.
Prefer experience working for a federal contractor with knowledge of OFCCP regulations and Affirmative Action.
Capable of thinking critically and sharing feedback and process improvement ideas with colleagues.
Technically proficient with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to maintain department confidentiality and to remain professional and diplomatic, even in busy or stressful situations.
